Dog Boarding

Dogs who board with Companion for Canines have a fenced-in acre to run free which includes enrichment equipment and toys to jump, play, and climb on. When it's time to rest, eat, or sleep the dogs have spacious runs in an air-conditioned room with elevated beds and rubber flooring for comfort. During these times the dogs can listen to music that is specifically designed to reduce anxiety, keep them calm, and make them happy!

When the dogs are outside, they are supervised at all times. If the dogs are inside, there is a camera to allow Companion for Canines to monitor them. While spending time engaging with the dogs, Companion for Canines will take pictures and/or videos and provide clients with that media. We hope that seeing what the dogs are doing while you're away will put your mind at ease, knowing they are living their best life while they are with us.

Services & Pricing

MEET and GREET

  • Consultation covers initial meeting and interview with the dog boarder.  Complimentary 

 

SERVICES

  • Doggy Day Care ( a 9-hour time slot ) for one dog is $30

  • Doggy Day Care ( a 9-hour time slot ) for two dogs is $40 ( when housed in the same kennel )

  • One dog for a 24-hour period is $50

  • Two dogs for a 24-hour period is $70 ( when housed in the same kennel )

  • Three dogs for a 24-hour period is $90 ( when housed in the same kennel )

  • Puppy who is not yet potty trained for a 24-hour period is $60

  • All fees must be paid at the time of pick-up.​​

ADDITIONAL PET FEES 

  • A boarding stay is considered one 24-hour period. If your dog remains in boarding for more that 24 hours on the pick-up day, an additional fee will apply. $5 for each hour over 24 hours.

  • If an insufficient amount of food is provided for your dog(s) during his/her stay, an additional fee will incur per dog, per day your dog boarder must provide the food. $5

 

HOLIDAY DEPOSIT

  • A non-negotiable, non-refundable deposit must be paid for stays scheduled on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Broward County Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year’s.

  • The deposit is 50% of the total fee for the stay.

 

HOLIDAY PICK-UP AND DROP OFFS 

  • Drop-offs and pick-ups will not be permitted on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve. Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All holiday cancellations require a 14-day notice, otherwise full fees apply.

  • All other cancellations require a 24-hour notice, otherwise full fees apply.
